Experience Details:
Workshops at Island Traditions Store offer you the chance to learn the traditional art of basket weaving. Our trained weavers will guide you through the process from beginning to end. Depending on the basket you choose, the workshop time can range from 2 to 4 hours. This is a great learning experience for anyone over the age of 5, and you get to take your basket home to show your friends and family. If you choose to make an ash basket, please allow us a couple of days notice to prepare the wood.
