Bishop's Machine Shop Museum

Explore

The Bishop Machine Shop Museum is a nostalgic step back into the early 20th century, replete with all the tools and equipment necessary for a belt-driven machine shop. Discover the journey of the Bishop family, from being blacksmiths to highly skilled machinists who contributed significantly to the servicing of the Island’s industries.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Guided tours are available by appointment only and leave on the hour, with the last tour beginning at 4:00 pm. There is an admission donation to the museum. However, for many people, what time they spend within the museum is priceless.
