Old Mills Park

Explore

Rediscover the renovated Old Mills Park and Barlow’s Pond, restored in 2006 for natural local life and community living. Works included cleaning and deepening the pond, constructing a new fish ladder for trout, and a pedestrian bridge, thereby inviting both local and international tourists to enjoy the scenic trails. Tourist information is offered in a replica of an old mill, while acquired amenities include a children’s playground and fitness equipment. Another nature park that lies adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club serves as another common place for summertime activities. In addition, there are tennis courts within the area and a bicycle park not far away for residents to enjoy sporting activities. The Confederation Trail, developed from a former railway, welcomes year-round walking, jogging, and biking and links directly with Old Mills Park.
