Open all year round, the Summerside Inn B&B is a beautifully appointed late Victorian Queen Anne Revival residence, located in the heart of historic downtown Summerside. Within easy walking distance are wonderful restaurants, facilities and attractions including the harbourfront and boardwalk. Plenty of popular island experiences are only a short drive away, including Anne of Green Gables, Cavendish beach and some of Canada’s best golf courses, beaches, music festivals and artisans.
We offer a choice of three lovely bedrooms, each with queen sized bed, period furnishings, television and en suite bath. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the parlour, 2nd floor sitting area, sun room and verandah. And of course, an elegant breakfast is served in the dining room each morning. Wi-fi and parking are also included in your stay.
The Summerside Inn has been a B&B for many years, and from 2012 to 2016, former owners Ken and Jenny Meister performed extensive renovations, bringing the venerable home back to its former glory and establishing the Summerside Inn as a premier Island B and B. I became the new owner in June 2017 and am proud to continue Summerside Inn’s tradition of excellent service and hospitality, aided in this endeavour by my brother Tim and my son Liam (when I can tear him away from the computer).
