Summerside Heritage Murals, initiated in 1996. The project began with the commissioning of a mural depicting the Great Fire of 1906 on the side of the Fire Hall on Fitzroy Street. This initiative quickly expanded to include four additional murals between 1997 and 1999, each beautifully illustrating a significant chapter in Summerside’s rich history.
