The fabulous centennial shrine of Our Lady of Mont-Carmel Church, distinguished by its site and architecture that borders on imposing on the Northumberland Strait. Since its foundation in 1812 by Acadian families, the church has continued to attract visitors eager to contemplate its beauty and the majestic Confederation Bridge nearby, visible in full length since 1997.

It is the third church built on this historic site. Designed by architect René P. LeMay, this spacious red brick church is recognized as one of the loveliest buildings within the province, serving as a beacon for heritage and spiritual guidance for the community and its visitors.
