Join us every second Friday starting July 8th, through July and August. Expect a fully immersive three-hour experience that allows you to interact closely with our friendly alpacas. Participation involves routine daily chores and learning more about these fascinating creatures and their care.

Delve into the rich cultural heritage of the Mi’kmaq people through a unique hands-on drum making experience. This summer, join a skilled Indigenous Artisan on a fascinating journey into the significance of the hand drum in the Mi’kmaq culture.

From June 14th to September 23rd, on weekdays, immerse yourself in the rhythms and resonances of the Mi’kmaq people. You’ll assemble the drum base and expertly weave moosehide to craft your very own drum, a tangible memento of this authentic cultural encounter.

Each session lasts approximately 4 hours, providing ample time to absorb the artisan’s teachings, participate in the crafting process, and truly connect with this vital aspect of Mi’kmaq tradition.

To ensure a rich and personal experience, spaces must be booked in advance.

Cost:
The experience is priced at $85 per person. Please note, given the level of concentration and dexterity required, we do not recommend this experience for children under 8 years of age.
