Quillwork on Birchbark | Experience Lennox Island
Join us at Lennox Island this summer for an immersive hands-on experience that invites you to dive into the rich cultural history of the Mi’kmaq peoples. Our event – “Quillwork on Birchbark” offers a unique opportunity to learn, create, and connect.
Explore the ancient art of quillwork, a traditional Mi’kmaq craft, under the patient guidance of a local Indigenous artisan. Choose your materials and carefully craft your decorative birchbark circle. This beautiful piece of art will be yours to take home as a memory of your encounter with Mi’kmaq culture.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Duration: 2 hours
- Price: $75 per person
- Age limit: Not recommended for children under 9 years of age
- Group size: Minimum 4 people
